Welcome to Seminar in Sacred Music and the Arts

Sacred music, art, and performance across traditions, from Gregorian chant and gospel to Sufi qawwali, Hindu devotional song, and sacred dance, including a required live or livestreamed performance and observation report.

Students will be able to

• Describe the role of music and art in the worship of several traditions.
• Attend and analyze a sacred performance from a tradition not your own.
• Use music and the arts thoughtfully in ministry.

This course is being written and will open soon.
