Your authority

Can Confluence ministers officiate in Idaho?

Idaho Code Section 32-303 authorizes a priest or minister of the gospel of any denomination to solemnize marriages. Idaho does not require clergy to register.

Confluence Seminary of Sacred Studies formally authorizes each of its ordained ministers, in writing, to conduct marriage ceremonies. That authorization is printed on every Confluence Certificate of Ordination.

  5. Complete the license

Fill in the officiant section of the license with the date and place of the ceremony and your information, and sign it.

  6. Return the license

Return the recording copy of the license to the county recorder who issued it within 30 days of the ceremony.
